Having a website for your business is not an option, it’s a necessity. Yet when you build a website just to have a website, you might cut a few corners that result in an ineffective website that underperforms. You have one chance to make a good first impression, and it’s visual. Slightly customized generic themes aren’t going to cut it. The recipe for a positive impact often calls for the right color palette, a professional logo, high resolution graphics or photos, and a clean & simple layout.
The visual impact typically convinces visitors to stay and look around, or bounce. Now it’s up to your web content to continue giving them a reason to stay. This doesn’t mean you should go overboard on text… quite the contrary. Effective copywriting, like design, is clean and simple. Less is more.
Contact Information & Social Buttons
Engaged visitors shouldn’t have to look for a Contact page… they should be able to call/email you easily from any web page. On the same hand, Liking, Following, or Sharing through social media is another goal that should be equally easy to fulfill.
