What do you think an ALT Attribute is???

If you sense that it’s used as a label for an image then Note you are going wide of the mark! It’s likely to be assumed as a label or a description, but it is nOt!

ALT text is determined by context. The expressions applied within an image’s Alt Attribute must be its content alike and put across the similar in order or dole out the same function that the image would

ALT Attribute in images helps in finding out your posts & navigating an article in search engines. In today’s world it has become a part & parcel to locate a picture with your post, so that search engines can find it out easily. ALT attribute is a means of putting information about an image laden in an article or post. Many search engines shore up JPEG, GIF, PNG & BMP picture format; so are the best to maintain the same kind of picture format in your post/blog. Articles attributed with images help the readers to get a visual idea of the post; the images must be relevant to the post.

Though an ALT attribute rallies round in formulating a website to look cooler & pleasing with images, videos & all that & we can say that it’s a fun to use ALT Attribute in any post or site, but regrettably all of these mean nothing to search engines.

Sometimes, due to stumpy internet, a site may unidentified picture formatting. Attributing ALT in such images helps the readers to understand what the picture is about via the message it explains.

Here I have given some sound suggestions for you to practice this attribute in a site as it should be:

Outwit using only images for navigation

Always append ALT Attribute to images as it’s obligatory for ease of access & for legitimate XHTML.

ALT Attribute is used to convey the function of the images being used. Here’s an example for you; if you are using a button image then don’t slip-up by naming it “button” in the ALT text instead of conveying the action performed by the button.

Elude undue words in image ALT attribute

Form detailed image index for your site

Bestow dissimilar names to different images & shun naming the pictures like image1, jpg and so on.

Avoid repeating ALT attributes in an article.

Use only those keywords who you think going to be helpful for your site & avoid stuffing irrelevant keywords just for the sake of certain terms. Do make sure that the keywords you are using match the image.

Be Aware! A mob of keywords may appear annoying for someone who go through the page & suddenly found a bunch of keywords instead of a proper report of an image.

ALT Attribute has made an important place in SearchEngineOptimization for websites. It’s a means to achieve better ranking but unluckily it is often disregarded. Cheers!

While writing a post/article one should be aware of the need & importance of quality content, accurate grammar & proper language as a site without these effects & possessions is worthless & hollow. These possessions are the finest keys for content optimization & help in escalating traffic to your website. Quality content can be characterized as user needed. Constant focus on creating high quality content & disregarding & overlooking SEO tricks & shortcuts helps in improving organic search traffic on search engines. It keeps mounting your website’s online visibility & standing through blogging & social media. Your focal point should be accentuating people & not machines.

Here are several guidelines you should follow for better content optimization:

Area under Discussion—The Spotlight:

The subject of your post should be the hold; you must focus on your subject & reader’s interest. For example, if you are running a job site, try to put more & more fresh & new jobs. If your site is about introducing new brands & products then keeps situating relevant posts & information to maintain continuity to your sites.

Optimize your Content by using Mystifying Topics:

An inviting article is one which has something mysterious & interesting to discuss. Attract readers by putting some cooperative & informative topics. This will surely keep your visitors watching persistently for some more fresh substance.

Bogus material may cause lack of web-traffic to your site:

Pass up posting fake articles & adorn your site with something new, fresh & interesting facts or stories. If you keep posting phony substance to your site then you’ll face a loss of a bundle of people who used to visit your site on daily basis for updated material.

The Title:

Give an enchanting caption to your post that the visitor cannot help reading the section. It will not only attract the readers as well as the search engines.

Easy-to-Read-Text:

The simpler the text the eminent it will be. Try to mark easy-to-read text. Your article should be free from grammatical errors & should be written in proper English.

Write for your Readers not for the Search Engines:

Like I said before, do not disregard the subject; so are the readers. Write to attract readers not the search engines; use appropriate subject, language & grammar & evade needless keywords.

Value of Keywords:

Don’t put out of your mind adding those keywords in the text of your site you have included in your Meta tags or those words you wish to come up on searches.

Significance of an Adequate use of Keywords in any Piece of Writing:

A surplus of any kind is loathsome, so be wary that you don’t exceed in using keywords more than 5% to 20% of your text. Online visitors begin searching through web pages by skimming for something relevant & needed; their eyes instantaneously jump to titles, images, blocks of any piece of writing. Make a note that you use the most important keyword(s) in the opening of the leaf as so they are given more influence.

Formatting:

Apt formatting or bolding some parts of the text is an imperative tool in quality content optimization. It makes its important part to stand out in the crowd. Thus, if you bold your keyword(s) in your text, they are perceived as more important than other words & consequently your text becomes more relevant to these keywords.

Content Relevancy – a Technique to Invite Google:

Keep posting or updating your web page regularly with fresh & relevant content. Such additions on a regular basis tempt Google to visit your site more & moreover it helps to increase traffic to your website.

Although there are several further tactics so as to aid you, however, the above 10 traditions are the easiest and most effective when landing in a world of extreme antagonism.

Best of luck!

SEO practicing is important for making your website easy & trouble-free not only for the users as well as for the search engine robot to understand. SEO helps the engines to comprehend what each page is about. Here in this article you will learn the importance of apt heading tags & their relevance in search optimization. The headings tags are HTML tags, used to hierarchically (H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6) systematize the design and the content of the website.

In protracted articles paragraphs with proper heading tags/titles appear helpful for visitors not only in finding out what they are looking for but it also show the gist of the highlighted paragraph. Placement of important keywords into various levels of header tags ranks your website higher. It’s one of the keys behind a successful Search Engine Optimization. So, at all times set apart a drawn out page with a range of clauses & exploit apt header tags to show up the snippet labels. Such practices track an enormous crowd of viewers to your website. It is important to keep in mind the importance of headings tags as it adds beautification to one’s website & its absence/paucity can cause lack of viewers. In today’s world all seek out material or anything else that they could do with online as there is an asset of information people can find. Accordingly you must aim to make your content to stand out by formulating it exactly that one could desire for i.e. by using proper heading tags, by highlighting important or relevant substance, by shunning unrelated & unwanted material etc. Nevertheless an excess of everything is bad, so as here. There are definite precincts on using the heading tags/title tags in an article/editorial; it must be used in an appropriate fashion. Hence, let us know the use of heading tags properly:

Don’t make an abrupt use of heading tag immediately following the page title, since every page title is kind of heading tag. In spite of this put your pen to paper telling a clear-cut synopsis of 4-5 lines after that initiate a subsection title with (H1/H.i), (H2/H.ii), (H3/H.iii) and all that.

Thrash out the vital & the most pertinent part of your site on H1 tag heading since it is the most important of the six “H” tags in SEO policy, plus this is the first item your visitor will have a look at. Thus it should accurately describe the content of the site it is about.

After that use H2 tag which is of next important, though is slighter important than the H1 tag, but still of high weight for search engines.

If you are writing a single or two lined paragraph then citing heading tags would give the impression of being badly chosen. You can simply point it out with (strong) or (em).

Try to make your reader or viewer harmonized, ordered & organized in detecting the main & sub paragraphs. Hence shun erroneous casing of heading tags; for instance using (H2) tag in the interior of (H3) or (H4) tag. Such performance can make your visitor feel harum-scarum.

An individual/accurate title can carry out a vital part in exerting a pull on a hefty quantity of viewers to hit off or bookmark a page instantaneously. Try to make it as simple & straightforward as feasible. It facilitates viewers to bump into the side effortlessly. The title should aim towards what exactly it is about, it should neither here nor there. While ascribing a title to your post/site do take in the items or products of which the site is about. For instance, if you are marketing for trinkets/costume jewelry then it would be most excellent if you could pick 1 or 2 characteristics that best describe your item & most importantly, name the type of item i.e. bracelet, clutch bag, necklace, ring etc. It appears palpable for those who are looking for a ‘gold bracelet’ or something correlated. In this fashion clients/search engines will catch & stipulate simply. It would not be wrong awarding this technique as one of the best or basic modus operands in making a search engine optimization.

If you want visitors to get on to your page through search engine results then you need to instill in your title the search term(s) they (visitors) are looking for. Here are some useful/functional tips that you should follow in featuring page title to your site(s):

It should elucidate the page’s content particularly/precisely.

It should be unproblematic for the search engines to trip up page.

It should not be contained disparate & redundant words to your topic. It shouldn’t be more than 60-65 letters counting 2-3 correlated tags.

Accuracy in no matter which is always pleasing. Attribute an accurate caption to your post. This makes certain that clients come to your page as of germane search terms, and are more expected to stay on the page & keep browsing.

Avoid popping in title tags that has zilch relevancy to the content, this could put down a bad impact on viewers of your page/site.

Each solo page of your site needs to have an original & distinctive page title.

Shun repeating the same title tags.

Using long & stretched captions won’t do your site any favors & may effect in the faux pas of important keywords. So, use concise & brief caption for your site.

The use of modifiers adjectives—best, fast, clean, modern, etc—that people use in day to day communications, are also very common in search, so a good practice is to use them with your primary keywords.

It looks helpful to use numbers/figures in your title tags such as “Top 5 ways to get Website traffic” or “10 rules to optimize search engines” and all that. It’s not required to use numbers but it could be of great help as visitors like me would prefer these kinds of title tags to click first.

An enchanting, distinctive, concise, accurate, relevant & proper page title is the best way to ensure more & more people can find your products. Though it takes too short a time to name a title but it has a gigantic impact on the success of your web page. Best of Luck!

How Does This Page Rank Check Tool Work?

Using the PR Checker Tool is a breeze- simply enter the URL of a web page and click the big green button that says “Check Page Rank”. It’s how to use this tool to its’ fullest potential that might surprise you!

FYI- each page on your website will have a different Page Rank. Cool, huh?

So when you enter the URL addresses, don’t stick to the home page (YourSite.com) because all you’ll get is the Site Page Rank and that’s almost a waste of a perfectly good tool!

To find out which of the pages on your website have the highest value, enter multiple URLs!!!

Here is an example of how the Page Rank varies between your Site and Pages:

As you can see, the Site PR for SmallSEOTools.com (which is basically the home page) is 4. However, the Google PageRank Checker Tool (page) has a higher PR(5) which means this tool has more authority back links. In other words, this is one of the most valuable Pages.

This is a powerful tool… use it well!

If you plan on purchasing advertising or buying a “used” website, this free Page Rank Checker can help you make an informed decision. Or if you’re researching the impact of your website, be sure to check the value of each individual web page… including blog posts.

Look at the difference here:

The picture above shows that QualityContentWriter.com has a measly PR1, but the $5 Article Challenge (http://qualitycontentwriter.com/quality-content-services/the-five-dollar-quality-article-writing-challenge/) and the Article Spinning (http://qualitycontentwriter.com/quality-articles/article-spinning/) blog post are valuable pages with a PR4. You wouldn’t know that if you only checked for Site PR!

Example: If you are checking for the Page Rank of “MySite.com” be sure to also check:

MySite.com/Services

MySite.com/About

MySite.com/Contact

MySite.com/Blog

MySite.com/Blog/BlogPost

My Results Are Red! What Does That Mean?

The Page Rank Checker on Small SEO Tools offers advanced insight not commonly found with other free PR checkers. The red results let you know when a Page Rank is fake, or false.

You see, some shady individuals will use a variety of methods to create a “spoof” Page Rank. You can use this tool to check the validity of a website before you buy it, or buy advertising, and save yourself from getting scammed.

Look at this example:

Now if you were to research the domain above you might be pleased to see it has a Page Rank of 5, which means it could actually be worth the $249.

That is, unless you dig a little deeper:

The red PR results let you know that a Page Rank is fake, not real. Please click here to learn more about how- and why- this would happen.

In a nutshell, most tools will show you just a Page Rank and you could still be suckered into wasting your money on a scam. However, Small SEO Tools provides a color scheme to identify the Fake PR from True PR, offering you peace of mind.

About Google Page Rank

Page Rank (named after Larry Page) is a link analysis algorithm used by Google that measures how many links point to a website or page, and more importantly the quality or importance of the sites that provide those links. It uses a numerical scale, with 0 being the least important and 10 being the most important.

In an attempt to “cheat the system”, some website owners have tried to purchase links back to their website hoping for a higher Page Rank. However, those low quality links can have a negative impact and result in a lower Google Page Rank. In addition, a website may be penalized or blocked from search results, giving priority to websites and web pages that have quality linkbacks and content that is valuable to humans.

If your Page Rank Test results are lower than you’d like them to be, you might want to use this Back Link Check tool to determine the Page Rank (value) of sites that are linking to your website or page, then further examining the value of each individual link with this Link Analysis tool. Also, you can use this Backlink Maker tool to create valuable (high PR) linkbacks.Page Rank is only updated 2 to 3 times a year, so the best policy is to put your best foot forward with value link building and quality content, and then run this test on a quarterly basis to see if there are any changes.

IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT modify the code, otherwise we can not guarantee the correct work of our free page rank checking tool that displays the page rank value!

Every Tom and Nancy who works with search engine optimization will have their own different ways of putting SEO reports together. It’s that simple. But at the same time, the elements for what works in SEO are basically the same, even between the two opposing perspectives (aka, black hat and white hat.).

In fact, the viewpoints on how to approach those elements are really the only thing that separates black hat SEO from white hat SEO. In any case, that’s neither here nor there. What matters is that if you’re paying somebody to optimize your website for higher positioning in targeted search engine results; you should be getting an SEO report every month (or at least every quarter).

SEO reports show that you’re getting something tangible for your money, because it might take some time before you’ll actually see your website where you want it in search results. At least with an SEO report, you can monitor progress while getting a deeper understanding of what works (and, what does not work.).

Likewise, if you are an SEO specialist… you should be giving your clients a routine SEO report.

The average SEO Report typically includes:

Keyword Research- Identifying the target keywords and value based on local search volume and competition

Keyword Position- Showing where a website currently displays in search results on Google, Yahoo!, and Bing search engines for each target keyword.

On Site Data- A variety of key points may include the top landing pages, traffic reporting, top exit pages, information about Meta data. This section generally provides an update towards prior goals and also suggests improvement for further growth.

Off Site Data- This section also provides an update towards prior goals and also suggestions for advancement, only it focuses on external search engine optimization efforts including link building, social media, online brand management,

Competition Analysis- This element can be used to measure your success against some of the most direct competition, and also understand what’s working for competitors who continue to rank in a higher position.

The average SEO Report will often miss some important elements though…

Let’s be honest… there are too many elements to include in an SEO report. It’s simply not possible (nor is it practical) to cover all the bases.

So we’re not going to list every single thing that is not usually included… but let’s talk about one in particular that the average web marketer may neglect to include.

Don’t Forget Link Auditing for SEO!

Sure, sure… there may be a section about back links in your report. (If you are an SEO specialist and you leave that part out, it might be time to look for another day job!)

Link building is a very big part of SEO, and that’s why even the simplest report should always look at the number of incoming links and contribute to your Page Rank.

Link audits are more complex, and won’t need to be done monthly but they should be done at least once a year. (Preferably on a quarterly basis, but the frequency depends on how seriously you take your Page Rank.)

Here are some things that a link audit will include:

The number of incoming links

The Page Rank of websites (and pages) that contain each back link

The relevance of each individual back link. (Note- links that are not relevant and used under appropriate context do not offer any real value.)

Anchor text, showing how others describe your website or target pages when linking.

Link health- how many links are live.

Top referrers- find out which back links are bringing you the most referral traffic

Ineffective links- identifying resources which can be avoided in future link building campaigns

You see, those details all add up to a greater understanding of the link element, and the information is so much more valuable than a general overview showing general quantity of links. Most SEO tools won’t even show the real value of each link, so it may require extra time and manual effort to complete a link audit.

Note- Use this free tool (http://smallseotools.com/link-tracker/) to save yourself from some of that extra work.

Now take that tip, rinse, and repeat with every element you cover by delivering a tool-based overview. If you really want to make something work; sometimes you have to take it apart and thoroughly inspect and polish every little piece.
